Terms & Conditions

These conditions apply to tours booked with Birdwatching Morocco Tours. Please read them before confirming a booking, and ask us if anything is unclear.

Booking and quotes

Tour prices are quoted on request, because they depend on group size, dates and the standard of accommodation you choose. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the itinerary and dates with you in writing.

What the price covers

Each tour page lists exactly what is included and excluded. As a rule our prices cover transport in a 4×4 vehicle, accommodation on the stated board basis and guiding throughout. International flights, travel insurance, lunches, drinks and personal expenses are not included.

Changes to an itinerary

Our itineraries are deliberately flexible. We may adjust the running order or the sites we visit to account for arrival and departure times, weather, road conditions or bird activity — always with the aim of giving you the best possible birding.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel, tell us as early as you can and we will confirm what can be refunded. Amounts already committed to hotels and other suppliers on your behalf may not be recoverable. We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.

In the rare event that we have to cancel a tour, we will offer you alternative dates or a refund of what you have paid us.

Day trips

Merzouga day trips should be booked at least two days in advance.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa required for Morocco, and for arranging your own travel insurance. Please tell us in advance about medical conditions, mobility needs or dietary requirements so we can plan around them.

Safety and conduct

Our guides may change or stop an activity where they judge it unsafe. We ask all guests to follow ethical birdwatching practice — no disturbance of nesting birds, no playback at sensitive sites, and respect for the communities and habitats we visit.
